How to pack for your next tropical vacation

Getting ready for a vacation is an exciting thing, and when this vacation is going to be a tropical getaway, things become much more exciting. Booking your hotels and flights are important, but have you paid enough attention to packing what you'll be needing for your vacation? Since you'll be enjoying warm weather, you don't need to pack heavy sweaters and stuff. But, what's more? We shall find out!

Travel Documents

No matter where you travel, it's always safe to take hard copies of your travel documents with you. Yes, we are dealing with the latest technologies and most of us are now used to have the soft copies on our phones, but we never can be sure of the reliability of them. They could be operating now and can have a strange tech issue (out of nowhere) the next minute. So, don't take a risk- make sure you take copies of your passport, travel insurance card, hotel reservation confirmations, and flight boarding documents with you when you travel. To keep all these documents safe, you may also use a separate docket.

Packing your clothes

Say you are going to fly to Malaysia for your tropical vacation and stay at a Penang hotel the likes of PARKROYAL Penang Resort. For this trip, do not forget your swimsuits and sundresses because it's going to be an island holiday where you'll spend most of your time on a beach. If you plan on some workout sessions during your holiday, pack your exercise clothes, and do not forget about other essentials such as underwear, nightwear, and a lightweight sweater (just in case it gets chilly at night).

Packing your shoes

This tip is for the ladies- do not take too many heels and wedges with you when you go, because there'll be of no need! If you have a special occasion such as a party or a wedding to attend, that' alright, but if that's not the case, a pair of flip flops, sandals, and sneakers will be more than enough. Remember to take your work out shoes if you plan to continue your gym sessions during your vacation too.

Packing toiletries

Needless to say, the most important thing to take with you for a tropical vacation would be your sunscreen! Then, do not forget to pack your shampoo (and conditioner if you use one), toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, deodorant, and styling products such as combs and brushes. Yes, most of these items can be provided by your hotel, but taking them with you will be anyways safer. Ladies, don't take all your makeup products when you go, because you will only need a very few throughout your days spent by the beach.

Packing the electronics

We hardly forget to take our mobile phone with us, but the charger- we tend to forget every time! So, make sure you take your charger and headphones when you travel, and if you are taking your laptop too, make sure you take its charger as well. Tropical vacations always let you take the most beautiful photos of your life, so if it's possible, take a DSLR camera with you. Take its charger, some extra batteries, and also an extra memory card (if possible) because the sceneries in tropical destinations demand to be captured, and you'll need more space for sure. Since you are going to spend more time on the beach, purchase a waterproof case that is available in the market to keep your phones and the camera safely without letting them get exposed to moisture.
