How to Spend 2 Weeks in Oman - A complete itinerary!

 Oman is a nation full of surprises and great stories. From the deserts to the coast, and everywhere in between, there is something for everyone here. This is a compilation of the highlights and must-see attractions of Oman. Here's a tried and tested itinerary ideal for an unforgettable two-week trip!

Muscat - 2 Days

The start of your trip is here in the capital. It's difficult to get about without a vehicle in this sprawling metropolis. It's essential that you remain in the heart of where all the activity is! Mutrah is where you should spend most of your time here in Muscat. It's a charming waterfront area with restaurants, souks, and stunning vistas as you stroll along the river. Muscat (Old) might be just small compared to other ancient cities across the globe, it is nevertheless worth a visit to walk about this region and get a sense of what Muscat was like in the past. Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque will be the highlight of your visit to Muscat, and it will undoubtedly amaze you. The complex consists of many buildings, each with elegantly tiled interiors.

Salalah - 3 Days

During the summer season, Salalah is the ideal location to visit in Oman, since the rest of the nation is too hot to handle. Ayn Athum Falls is a brilliant blue pool surrounded by rich vegetation that only emerges in the summer. Ayn Khor Falls is yet another stunning waterfall that only appears during the rainy season. Wadi Darbat is lush and lively. Camels are found grazing by the river. Al Mughsayl coastline is a beautiful length of cliffs surrounding beaches. You may go trekking or swimming. Wadi Bani Khalid - 1 Day

This is yet another favourite wadi. You may swim through miniature canyons or caves or relax among the numerous natural pools without having to walk at all.

Wahiba Sands - 2 Days

The Wahiba Sands is a must-visit! The Bedouin people live here, and you can discover their way of life by camping overnight. If you appreciate desert scenery, you'll want to spend a few days enjoying the beautiful desert sunrise and sunsets. You may ride camels, explore these sand dunes, and dune bash!

Nizwa and Surrounding - 2 Days

Oman has several fortifications spread throughout the nation. The Nizwa Fort was constructed over an underground watercourse in the 1650s. This is also the most visited monument in Oman. Al-Hamra is a long-abandoned community that currently stands intact and vacant. You may walk around and learn about life in Oman's past. 

Jebel Shams - 2 Days

The Middle East's Grand Canyon, aptly called, is adorned with elaborately sculpted canyons. It's a wonderful location to drive and also hike. Spend the night at the lodges or with the campers to enjoy the views of the glorious sunrise.

The Arabian Peninsula - 3 Days 

The Arabian Peninsula offers breathtaking sea as well as mountain vistas, along with some of the finest diving in the world. You can kayak, dive, or take boat trips to see this unique location.
